What is QuickSwap, and how does it work?
The future of decentralized exchanges DEXs have been gaining popularity in recent years, thanks to the growing interest in DeFi. DEXs allow users to trade cryptocurrencies without the need for intermediaries or centralized exchanges, providing greater security, transparency, and control over assets. As the DeFi ecosystem continues to grow, the future of decentralized exchanges looks promising. The growth of cross-chain interoperability is one trend that will probably continue. The majority of DEXs currently run on a single blockchain, but the ability to trade assets between chains is becoming more popular. This would increase liquidity and give users access to a …

Smooth and secure crypto trading? This perpetual DEX is up for the challenge
The blooming blockchain sector is tightly reliant on crypto exchanges. The trade of crypto assets keeps the industry flowing, and exchanges are a vital link. However, as the blockchain sector strives for constant development with decentralized transparency, exchanges have a long way to go. Moreover, recent history has shown many problems related to the stability and even the safety of these exchanges. So what can be done to bring exchange technology to the next level? Decentralized exchanges for increased safety Crypto exchanges are distributed into two camps: decentralized exchanges (DEXs) and centralized exchanges (CEXs). Besides the difference of two letters, …

Fully on-chain order book DEXs as the future of DeFi
For most retail crypto investors, centralized digital marketplaces like Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and many more have been the preferred gateway to the world of cryptocurrency trading. However, as leaked customer data like the recent Gemini case and misappropriated funds like the FTX debacle continue to plague the space, crypto investors have been looking into alternatives. According to a Delphi Digital analysis following the FTX crash, DEX tokens saw a 24% uptick, and CEX tokens saw a 2% decline. The lack of transparency in how CEX operations are run has become a major driver for this trend shift. What’s more, a …

How DeFi aggregators optimize DEX trading
The rapid downfall of FTX has hastened the shift from centralized exchanges (CEXs) to decentralized exchanges (DEXs), but selecting the right DEX is not an easy task. Besides looking for convenience and an intuitive interface, crypto traders face several challenges with DEXs that can greatly affect their trading activity. The problem is that many traders are unaware of some of these challenges because some DEXs don’t provide enough information to simplify the trading process. This leaves many crypto traders vulnerable to several DEX risks, such as: Price impact — the risk of the trade being executed at a worse price …

Blockchain DEXs Onchain and Camelot part ways over IFO spat
In a dispute that originated Feb. 22, decentralized exchanges (DEXs) Onchain Trade and Camelot terminated an agreement for the former's initial fair offering (IFO), with both firms alleging that the opposing counterparty acted in bad faith. An IFO, whilst still an emerging concept, typically involves promises made by developers consisting of no venture capitalist involvement, no whitelist, no presale, and vast majority of income going to token holders, on top of a traditional initial coin offering. As told by Onchain, developers began negotiations with Camelot for an IFO, for which the latter charged a fee of 2%, and both parties …

SEC enforcement action creates a silver lining for GMX, Lido (LDO) and Maker (MKR) price
The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has started ramping up its crackdown on the crypto industry and recent enforcement actions had a negative impact on crypto prices last week and at the start of this week. The SEC is focusing on stablecoin issuers. The most recent SEC stablecoin crackdown was on Feb. 13 through the issuance of a Wells Notice to Paxos Trust Company, the issuer of Binance USD (BUSD). While Paxos denies that BUSD is a security, which would place it outside the SEC’s jurisdiction, some lawyers say the answer is not so simple, which creates fear …

DEX aggregators making DeFi accessible to CEX fans
The sudden collapse of what was once the second-largest crypto exchange in the world has accelerated the migration from centralized exchanges (CEXs) to decentralized exchanges (DEXs). The now-bankrupt FTX still owes the equivalent of billions of dollars to users across the globe, and this is not the only instance of traders losing their funds with CEXs. The benefits of self-custody wallets and the use of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications have become more evident. However, once retail traders set foot in DeFi, they may be perplexed by the complexity of decentralized applications and the wide range of options, which adds to …
