India’s national payment network, called the unified payments interface (UPI), is expanding its services beyond Indian borders to Singapore. Indian retail chain rolls out support for CBDC payments in stores: Report
One of India’s biggest retail chains, Reliance Retail, announced that they have started accepting the digital rupee at one of its store lines and plans to extend the rollout to all its businesses. Major Indian crypto exchange CoinSwitch Kuber had five of its premises searched by anti-money laundering agents on Thursday over alleged violations of forex laws.
