Bitcoin price surges, but derivatives metrics reflect pro trader’s neutral sentiment
As Bitcoin (BTC) finally broke out of the $46,000 resistance on March 27, traders were quick to conclude that the bearish trend was gone for good. Even as the price hit its highest level in 84 days, derivatives metrics and Asia’s Tether premium still show a lack of bullish sentiment. While analysts will struggle to find a rationale for the modest 5.8% 24-hour gain that pushed Bitcoin above $48,500, we still have to account for the daily 3.8% average volatility. For instance, over the past 12 months, BTC presented a daily swing higher than 5.8% in 44 instances, ranging from …

NFT projects and high-yield opportunities back Zilliqa’s strong rebound
One of the most important factors in the long-term success of a blockchain platform is having an active community of supporters and developers that work to showcase the capabilities of the network by creating new products and interacting with projects on the protocol. Zilliqa (ZIL) is one project that saw its price surge throughout August as developers built out its ecosystem and made improvements to the protocol. Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView shows that after hitting a low of $0.05 on July 20, the price of ZIL proceeded to rally 145% to a swing high at $0.1244 on …

Zilliqa, Terra (LUNA) and VeChain rally off good news and strong fundamentals
During a bull market, negative news is quickly digested, and the collateral damage is often limited. Moreover, as Bitcoin’s (BTC) strong rally takes a breather, several altcoins have broken out of their overhead resistance levels and are attempting to resume their uptrend. Let’s look at a few tokens that have risen sharply in the past few days and analyze their charts to ascertain whether the rally could extend further. ZIL/USD Zilliqa's …

DeFi hype and upcoming mainnet upgrade back Zilliqa’s (ZIL) 69% rally
In the past month, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) basked in the limelight as each rallied to new yearly highs. Investors tend to focus their energy on the larger cap altcoins, which leads to smaller cap coins that reside outside of the top-10 being ignored. For example, Zilliqa (ZIL) has rallied 69% in the last 30-days. Despite this impressive performance, the altcoin has significantly underperformed Ether in the past six months. The project was founded in 2017 by National University of Singapore researchers who w looking to bring scalability to smart contracts. Currently, ZIL is ranked 49 on CoinMarketCap, ahead …
